Colorado Springs, May 2, 2006 -- BigFishTackle.Com (A Predatorial Advertising Associates L.L.C. web site), the leading niche vertical fishing web site announced a record setting attendance, angler participation, and prize pay outs for the 4th annual Willard Bay Wiper Tournament to be held at Willard Bay, Utah on May 20th, 2006.

The “Wiper” a cross between a white bass and a striped bass grow fast, strike hard, and fight like no other fish. The wiper, like its striper parent, has two rows of teeth near the rear of the tongue. The white bass has a single tooth patch on its tongue. The world record wiper is listed at 27 pounds, 5 ounces.

The Willard Bay Wiper Tournament started 3 years ago as a friendly outing from members of BigFishTackle.Com’s Utah fishing message board. Started by and directed by Utah fishing message board members and moderators. This years directors include “Rich Jones”, Mike Brady and Mike Hodgdon, the tournament has grown from a modest 10 teams to over 45 teams (and growing) and over 250 anticipated attendees to this years award banquet and Barbeque.

Teams consist of 2 anglers. Anglers are awarded prizes based on the top 3 teams with the longest combined length of 1 “Wiper” each team member, the angler with the biggest wiper (big fish) of the day, and a new award this year includes the biggest “walleye” of the day.
